Something about me ...

I'm a full-time senior visual artist/painter, residing in the Laguna Niguel area of Southern California. I was born, raised, and educated in Chicago. I'm a graduate of the Chicago Public Schools (a Laneite), The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and The University of Chicago. Computer graphic credits at Michigan State University.

I own a BAE, and completed two years Graduate work, MAE, in the areas of Art Education, Painting, Drawing, Illustration and Psychology.  I'm a nationally exhibited, published, and award-winning artist.
I'm a recipient of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, George E. Brown Fine Art Foreign Travel Fellowship. Plus, six years full-time
college art scholarships, including the School of the Art Institute's Honorary Master’s Degree Scholarship.  Also, the City of Chicago, full time first year college scholarship. The Art Institute of Chicago Raymond Fund and Junior Art School scholarships, and other fine art, commercial art, and teaching awards and achievements.

My professional art experience and capabilities, are the result of working many years as a fine artist/painter, commercial artist and photographer, art teacher, writer (fiction novels, short stories, screenplays), art consultant, and as a 3D LightWave graphic artist. Creating art for a diverse range of business, advertising, entertainment, religious, museums, private art collectors, art galleries, and consumer markets.

I'm a former Chicago Board of Education High School Art Teacher (Lane Technical and Harrison High School). And also at Mason High School, Michigan. I have moderated Art Seminars, and taught Art Workshops in both Chicago and Michigan.
