Something about me ...

I'm a senior, full-time contemporary abstract visual artist/painter, residing in the Laguna Niguel area of Southern California. I was born, raised, and educated in Chicago. I'm a graduate of the Chicago Public Schools (Lane Technical High School Smith-Hughes Art Curriculum). The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and The University of Chicago. Computer graphic credits from Michigan State University.

I own a BAE, and completed two years Graduate work, MAE, in the areas of Art Education, Painting, Drawing, Illustration and Educational Psychology.
I'm a recipient of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, George E. Brown Fine Art Foreign Travel Fellowship. Plus, six years full-time
college art scholarships, including the School of the Art Institute's Honorary Master’s Degree Scholarship.  Also, the City of Chicago first year college art scholarship. The Art Institute of Chicago Raymond Fund and Junior Art School scholarships, and other art, teaching awards and achievements.

My professional art experience and capabilities are the result of working many years as a fine artist/painter, freelance commercial artist and photographer, art teacher, fiction writer (graphic novels, short stories, screenplays), art consultant, and 2-3D computer graphic artist. Creating art for a diverse range of business, advertising, entertainment, religious institutions, museums, private art collectors, art galleries, and consumer markets.

I'm a former Chicago Board of Education High School Art Teacher (Lane Technical and Harrison Technical High School). Also a Michigan, Mason High School art teacher. I have moderated Art Seminars, and taught Art Workshops in both Chicago and Michigan.
